Having worked within the Offshore renewables sector for over ten years I stated this journey predominantly involved with Shore end export cable landings on the Greater Gabbard, Teeside & Gwynt Y Mor offshore windfarms.
From this point moving forward into the Construction management of large scale multi billion pound Onshore & Offshore Windfarm builds across the UK & Scotland.
Shore end cable landings have become somewhat of a speciality and having successfully completed ( On time & within budget and more importantly safely ) The Landfall section of East Anglia 1 that included 4 x Large diameter drills of 1km long, Installation of 2 x Ac subsea export cables, construction of two number sectional concrete transition joint bays and overseeing the cable terminations and jointing being the most challenging to date.
With a vast knowledge of operational requirements and machinery/equipment requirements for successful completion of large scale projects.
As CDM 2015 is the back bone of these large windfarms builds the knowledge of CDM &, more importantly safety that has been gained over this ten years + period is vast.
